Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 large red onion, roughly chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb white mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup dry white wine, such as chardonnay
  • 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley, plus more to top If fresh isn't available, use 1/2 - 1 tsp dried
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped thyme If fresh isn't available, use 1/4 - 1/2 tsp dried
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped rosemary If fresh isn't available, use 1/4 - 1/2 tsp dried

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium high heat.
  • Add onion and saute for 3 minutes. Add garlic and saute until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Add mushrooms, stirring to mix with the garlic butter mixture, then allow to brown for 3 minutes without stirring. After 3 minutes, stir again and cook an additional 2 minutes without stirring.
