During the work week, my family is usually incredibly busy. So, with that in mind, it’s nice to have a recipe or two up your sleeve that requires minimal prep work. This herb roasted chicken is one of those recipes that is super quick but pairs well with almost any side dishes. Follow along as I teach you how I do it.

For this recipe, you will not need much. You seriously just need a cookie sheet. That’s it. Anyone can make this super easy recipe! The ingredients needed are also just staple ingredients that anyone should have on hand.

Herb Roasted Chicken Breasts
Ingredients
- 2 medium-large chicken breasts
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Sprinkle seasonings all over both sides of the chicken breasts. Place chicken on a baking sheet.
- Roast chicken in the oven for 40-45 minutes or until they reach 160°F. Let rest 5-10 minutes.
- Serve with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
As you can see, this is an incredibly simple recipe that anyone could make. But what should you have with it? Well honestly, these herb roasted chicken breasts go well with just about everything. I’ve made them with quinoa, couscous, wild rice, creamy polenta, roasted veggies, pasta, etc. You name it, they’ll pair well with it!
