Here at Growing Up Garlicky, we don’t have a ton of recipes for side dishes. So, I’m working to change that. This recipe for buttery sautéed spinach is so quick and easy. It’s one of my favorite vegetable sides to make because it’s so flavorful and it pairs nicely with nearly any dish. You’ll have a delicious side dish in 10 minutes tops. So here’s how you do it!

Special Ingredients or Equipment Needed

There likely isn’t any kitchen equipment you’ll need for sautéed spinach that you don’t already have in your kitchen. Most of the items you’ll need are standard for any kitchen. That being said, here are the cooking utensils and equipment I recommend having:

  • sharp knife
  • garlic press
  • spatula
  • small frying pan

As far as ingredients go, there aren’t any ingredients that aren’t super common. Everything should be able to be purchased from your local grocery store.

As you can see, there really isn’t much to it. You melt some butter, add garlic and red onions, and then sauté your spinach at the end with some seasonings!
