Smoothies are one of our favorite breakfasts because they’re quick, easy, versatile and a great option if you’re on the go. This chocolate banana smoothie is a great option for picky eaters because of the hidden avocado adding lots of nutrients and healthy fats to start the day off right. It also takes about five minutes to make. Just toss everything in, blend, and away you go!
But if you’re skeptical I totally understand! I think some of you may be wondering the following question. Why the avocado? Well, first of all, it has such a mild flavor that between the chocolate and banana, you can’t really taste it. So it’s a great way to hide vitamins and nutrients in this breakfast for people who aren’t a fan of avocados by themselves. There are so many health benefits that avocados have. If you can find creative ways to use them, especially if you’re someone like me who may not enjoy them by themselves, then why not? Here’s a link to a great article from Web MD about some of the benefits avocados can have on our health.
Now, if I haven’t totally lost you, here’s the recipe!
